RENT SHORT-TERM
When renting a cottage in Ol-jons By you can freely choose the amount of days you would like to stay, from just a few days to a week or more. When renting a full week the changeover days are Saturdays. Short-term rental is booked either through Ol-jons By's website (contact details as below) or Booking.com or Expedia.com.
BUY SHARE AND BECOME A SHAREHOLDER
If you want to become a shareholder and thereby rent at least two weeks a year in Ol-jons By, you can contact the property manager,

As a shareholder you can freely choose two weeks a year that you would like to stay in Ol-jons By, subject to availability. The annual cost for a share is SEK 6,600, i.e. SEK 3,300 per week as well as a one-time service fee of SEK 1,000. When buying a share you commit for a period of at least 5 years. If you want additional weeks during a year, the additional cost is SEK 2,100 per week.
The shareholder weeks start and end on Saturdays. You will gain access to the cottage from 15.00 on the day of arrival.
Departure no later than 12:00 (noon) the following Saturday. If you have ordered cleaning you need to depart no later than 10.00.
SHAREHOLDERS
If you, as a shareholder, would like to receive more information about the board, board work, annual reports etc. you are welcome to email the property manager as per contact details below. There is also information in each house in the "cottage book".
OTHER INFORMATION
· The cottages are non-smoking. Any smoking inside the cottages is subject to fines.
· Electric car charging can be done for a low fee. Loading is done at both sides of the recycling house.
· Washing machine and dryer are available at a low cost.
· Wood in the house can be used free of charge. If you want more wood, there are bags available at a cost of SEK 80 per bag.
· Bicycles, sledges and rides are available free of charge.
· Ol-jons By have two boats moored in Storsjön which are available to rent at low cost. NOTE! Do not use boats without wearing life jackets.
CROSS COUNTRY SKIING
Situated just 200 meters above the village is a cross country ski track which is free to use during winter. When dark it is possible to light the whole track up by switching on the electrical lighting on the pole opposite the mailbox.
The ice hockey rink located below the village may be used free of charge, provided it is not used by local ice hockey teams.
BED-LINEN
As the cottages are not equipped with bed linen, you need to bring your own sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases. You also need to bring your own towels. However, bed linen and towels are possible to rent directly from the property manager if needed.
Cleaning must be done by the person(s) who rent the cottage. Cleaning instructions can be found in the “cottage book”. Cleaning can also be ordered at the price of SEK 700.
